After connecting an Amazon store, StoreClaw can read Amazon seller account data within the scope you authorize, including stores and marketplaces, orders, catalog items, Listings, inventory, prices, fulfillment, returns, business reports, and financial data. After receiving your explicit confirmation, StoreClaw can also perform supported operations involving Listings, prices, fulfillment, A+ Content, and review requests.
You can use this data for business analysis, store diagnostics, content optimization, daily operations, and automated tasks. Available capabilities depend on your Amazon account, marketplaces, and authorized permissions. Some data and features also require you to meet Amazon's applicable eligibility requirements.
In the current version, the Amazon connector is managed through the Amazon Plugin. Install the Amazon Plugin first, then open the Plugin detail page and authorize your seller account in the Connector section.
Security note: The Amazon store connection uses Amazon's official OAuth authorization flow. StoreClaw does not obtain or store your Amazon login password and only accesses store data within the scope you authorize. For operations that modify, delete, publish, or submit data, StoreClaw first displays the operation details and waits for your explicit confirmation.
Good-fit Workflows
After connecting an Amazon store, you can use StoreClaw to:
- Query sales, revenue, orders, returns, and financial data to generate business briefings.
- Analyze FBA inventory, inventory snapshots, inbound plans, and fulfillment status.
- Query catalog items and Listings, check listing restrictions, and optimize product information.
- Query prices, competitive offers, and fee estimates, and adjust product prices or Listings after confirmation.
- Create and manage A+ Content, associate ASINs, and submit content for review.
- Create or query FBA Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders and merchant-fulfilled shipments.
- Send product review and seller feedback requests in compliance with Amazon policies.
- Use sales and traffic data for trend analysis. Some Brand Analytics data requires Brand Registry enrollment and the appropriate permissions.
Note: Advertising data such as Amazon ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and search terms is managed through the Amazon Ads connector. To use advertising capabilities, install and connect the Amazon Ads Plugin separately.
Before You Start
Before connecting, make sure that:
- You can log in to StoreClaw.
- You can log in to Amazon Seller Central.
- The current Amazon login is the primary store account or has access to the target seller account and marketplaces.
- The target seller account is active and available.
- StoreClaw and Amazon Seller Central are signed in within the same browser environment.
If you use a store environment browser such as Purple Bird Browser, open and sign in to StoreClaw in the same browser environment where you are signed in to the target Amazon store before starting authorization.
Connection Process
Step 1: Open the Amazon Connector
- Log in to StoreClaw and click Plugins in the left sidebar.
- Find the Amazon Plugin and click Install. If it is already installed, open the Plugin detail page directly.
- Find Amazon in the Connector section of the Plugin detail page, then click Connect or Add Account.
Step 2: Select the Store Region
In the connection window, select the region of the target store. StoreClaw redirects you to the corresponding official Amazon authorization page based on the selected region.
Common regions include:
- North America: Marketplaces such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Europe: Marketplaces such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
- Far East: Marketplaces such as Japan, Australia, and Singapore.
Refer to the connection window for the marketplaces currently supported in each region. Selecting the wrong region may prevent StoreClaw from identifying the target seller account or reading data for the corresponding marketplaces.
Step 3: Complete Amazon OAuth Authorization
- Sign in with the Amazon seller account you want to connect.
- Follow the instructions on the Amazon authorization page to select the seller account or marketplace to authorize.
- Review the authorization scope and confirm authorization.
- After authorization is complete, the page automatically returns to StoreClaw.
Button labels, permission names, and account selection methods on the Amazon authorization page may vary by region, account type, or page version. Follow the wording shown on the actual page.
Step 4: Confirm the Connection Status
After returning to StoreClaw, check the connector status on the Amazon Plugin detail page:
- If it shows Connected, authorization is complete.
- If it still shows as disconnected, check the browser environment, Amazon account permissions, and selected region, then authorize again.
About Seller ID and Marketplace Selection
The Amazon authorization page may require you to select one marketplace, but StoreClaw manages Amazon connections by Seller ID.
- The same Seller ID usually only needs to be authorized once.
- After authorization succeeds, StoreClaw can identify the marketplaces accessible under that Seller ID within the authorized scope.
- If one Seller ID operates in multiple marketplaces such as the United States, Canada, and Mexico, you do not need to add the same account separately for each marketplace.
- If you operate multiple Seller IDs, add and authorize each one separately.
Therefore, if the Amazon authorization page only allows one marketplace to be selected, choose any marketplace you need under the current seller account and continue authorization. This selection is used to complete the Amazon authorization flow and does not mean StoreClaw can only access that marketplace.
Connect Multiple Amazon Accounts
The Amazon Plugin supports adding multiple seller accounts under the same connector. Each connected account usually corresponds to one Seller ID and appears as a separate account.
If you operate multiple Seller IDs, click Add Account for each one in the Connector section of the Amazon Plugin detail page and complete authorization. We recommend giving each account an easy-to-recognize name so you can accurately select the target store in chats, analyses, and automated tasks.
Authorize with Purple Bird Browser
Amazon OAuth reads the Amazon login state in the current browser environment. If StoreClaw and Amazon Seller Central are not open in the same browser environment, Amazon may be unable to identify the target store or may authorize the wrong account.
If you use Purple Bird Browser:
- Open the Purple Bird Browser environment for the target store.
- Sign in to Amazon Seller Central in that environment.
- Open the StoreClaw website and sign in within the same environment.
- Start the connection from the Amazon Plugin detail page in StoreClaw and complete authorization.
If Purple Bird Browser blocks the StoreClaw URL the first time you open it, submit a domain whitelist request in Purple Bird Browser.
https://www.storeclaw.ai/
If the whitelist request is not approved, contact Purple Bird Browser customer support.
Troubleshoot Authorization Failures
The Target Store Does Not Appear on the Amazon Authorization Page
Check the following in order:
- Confirm that StoreClaw and Amazon Seller Central are signed in within the same browser environment.
- Confirm that the current Amazon login is the primary store account or has access to the target seller account and marketplaces.
- Confirm that the region selected during connection matches the region of the target store.
- Confirm that the target seller account is active and available.
If you use Purple Bird Browser, make sure StoreClaw is open in the Purple Bird environment for the target store, rather than in regular Chrome, another Purple Bird environment, or another separate browser.
The Account Still Shows as Disconnected After Authorization
Return to the Amazon Plugin detail page and check the connection status again. If the account is still disconnected, confirm that you did not switch Amazon accounts, close the authorization window, or deny permissions during authorization. After checking the browser environment, account permissions, and store region, authorize again.
If you still cannot complete the connection, contact customer support through the lower-right corner of the StoreClaw website.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Will authorizing my Amazon store affect the security of my Amazon account?
A: StoreClaw uses Amazon's official OAuth authorization flow. It does not obtain or store your Amazon login password and only accesses store data within the scope you authorize. You can review or revoke authorization from the account management page provided by Amazon.
Q: Will StoreClaw automatically modify or delete my store data?
A: No. StoreClaw will not modify, delete, publish, or submit your store data without confirmation. For operations involving changes to Listings, prices, fulfillment, A+ Content, review requests, and other store data, StoreClaw first displays the operation details and waits for your explicit confirmation.
Q: Why can't the Amazon authorization page find my target store when I use Purple Bird Browser?
A: The most common reason is that StoreClaw and Amazon Seller Central are not signed in within the same browser environment. Sign in to both Amazon and StoreClaw in the Purple Bird environment for the target store, then start authorization from StoreClaw. If the StoreClaw URL is blocked, submit a domain whitelist request for https://www.storeclaw.ai/.
Q: Why am I unable to connect my Amazon store?
A: Check these items first:
- StoreClaw and Amazon are signed in within the same browser environment.
- The current Amazon account has access to the target seller account and marketplaces.
- The correct region was selected during connection.
- The target seller account is active and available.
If you still cannot connect, contact customer support through the lower-right corner of the StoreClaw website.
Q: The Amazon authorization page only allows me to select one marketplace. Does that mean I can only connect that marketplace?
A: No. StoreClaw manages Amazon connections by Seller ID. The marketplace selected on the authorization page is primarily used to complete the Amazon authorization flow. After authorization succeeds, StoreClaw can identify the marketplaces accessible under that Seller ID within the authorized scope.
Q: Do I need to authorize each marketplace under the same Seller ID separately?
A: Usually not. The same Seller ID generally only needs to be authorized once. If you operate multiple Seller IDs, add and authorize each one separately.
Q: Can I connect multiple Amazon seller accounts?
A: Yes. You can add multiple accounts in the Connector section of the Amazon Plugin detail page. Each account usually corresponds to one Seller ID. We recommend giving each account an easy-to-recognize name.
Q: Can I use Amazon advertising data after connecting an Amazon store?
A: No. The Amazon store connector and Amazon Ads connector are separate. To query or manage ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, and other advertising data, install and connect the Amazon Ads Plugin separately.
